We wanted to thank those that provided us with some very interesting information over the past 24 hours. Please note that we will protect the identities of any person supplying information concerning those fateful events that lead to her current condition. Our hope is to produce a timeline of the chronological events leading to Christina's current state. And a little forewarning, there will be no consideration paid to those involved in her demise.

We have submitted this website to a number of search engines over the past few days, so eventually all information posted here will be indexed and available to no fewer than 54 million people across the world. We also have a number of plans to increase the visability of this website through some very well known web technologies. The power of the web is a force that can truly change lives!

Today Christina was again visited by her Aunt and two cousins. While Christina's condition remains grave, her Aunt and cousins continue to provide visable comfort. Combing her hair, soothing voices and supportive assurances. In fact, the medical staff has been nothing but supportive and caring of Christina - a far cry from florida Medical Care described to us! We will not even mention the type of care she received there because it is just plain disgusting and degrading to Christina.

Times like these require something called "Family" and at least in part, Christina does have family that truly cares about her.........

Christina's cousin and Aunt visited with her yesterday. Christina really enjoyed having her hair washed, conditioned and brushed out in a pony tail by her cousin. She really seemed to recognize her cousin and the nurses took note of this and wrote it down in Christina's Chart.

An interesting note seems to be that Christina relates and reacts more to people of her own age, such as the two cousins that have visited with her (ages 21 and 17).
Christina was also soothed by some beautiful "Spoken Word" music by the Irish singer Roma Downey (that is today's picture - the album cover). Her album "Healing Angel" contains soft flowing music and inspirational verses such as "Be Thou My Vision", "A Simple Prayer" and "Peace and Healing". The first song she heard was "Be Thou My Vision" and upon hearing this music she relaxed, stopped crying and gently fell asleep. It really seemed to have an effect on her which would indicate that she is aware of her surroundings, perception, touch and feel.

Remember that Miracles can happen and will happen. That is why this word "Miracle" is in our language and other languages too. It is there for the simple reason to explain why things happen that should not happen. When the cards are stacked against you or when all hope is lost, a single grain of sand can and will make a difference. Suddenly that grain of sand is stronger than anyone can imagine and there is no way to stop it.

A good example of a Miracle was the Boston Red Sox's 2004 World Series Win. No one thought they could come back from losing 3 straight games to the Yankees to win the Pennant and then the World Series, but people believed they could do it. Some people gave up, but others continued to believe that it was going to happen. What started as a "foolish hope" suddenly took on a life of its own - all because people believed it could happen.

Don't lose hope, believe and let it happen. We believe in you Christina!

We are starting to receive emails from people that know Christina. We will post them here, but will edit the emails to remove direct references to the person that sent the email. We would be interested in receiving any emails directly from people that know of or have heard of the circumstances surrounding her last night and following 72 hours before she was rescued by the paramedics.

Christina's friend writes,

"Christina and I where good friends in school. Over the years her and I grew apart and lost touch. My heart goes out to her and I really hope she comes out of this ok. I hope to see her well again and be able to catch up the years with her, It really sounds like she needs good friends around. I will keep praying and tell Christina I said hello and to get well soon."

Dear Friend, we will mention this to Christina at the next visit. Thank you for taking the time to write.

We look forward to more emails! The best way to help from a far is to pass this website on to as many people as you know. The more information and knowledge that is sent to us, the better able we will be to accomplish the stated goals for this site.

It has been a very busy last 24 hours and this is the first chance for an update to Christina's story. She is now at Brigham & Woman's hospital and the level of care, compassion and academic medicine is just mind boggling .The Boston medical staff have been on the phone with The medical center trying to find her records and get information about what they were doing !

A team of neurologists and physicians have been working with Christina with various tests . The reality is that Christina is in a very serious condition with her traumatic brain injury; however, she is not in a vegetative state! That is the good news. The doctors and medical staff have given some options for treatment. While there was no clear answer because of the seriousness of her condition, it is looking more likely that they will proceed with rehabilitation efforts. Of course, this is the immediate family's decision.

We must not lose hope and must keep the faith that improvement will happen. We are working on getting photographs in Christina's room of her 2 year old little girl. Shopping at Walmart for health care products to make her more comfortable (i.e. lotion, cleansing wipes, etc.)

At this point in time, knowledge is very important. We have located some articles on the internet about treatment and will be asking the physicians about what we learn. If you have seen any recent articles or websites about experimental treatments or ways of improving a persons consciousness from brain injury please forward them to our email address: JusticeForChristina.

And we would like to make a correction to our initial reports of the person responsible for Christina's current condition. We Really do not know the cause or the who ? We do know there is no open case in pinellas to our knowledge ? we do know that we all loved christina and something bad happened to her !
First and foremost, our energies at this time are with helping Christina. The main purpose of this site will be to 1) To help Christina, 2) To determine how to best help Alyssia Christina's two year old daughter understand her mom was a great person and loved her very much - 3) Render Justice for Christina!

Thank you all for your prayers, hope and compassion. We will keep the faith! Please continue to pass this website address on to all of your email lists, friends and family.

Once upon a dream - Tuesday August 23rd, 2005 - It was in our darkest hour that our hopes and plans to move Christina began to unravel. We tried our best to arrange for transportation to bring Christina to Brigham & Woman's hospital in Boston for treatment. Contacting as many people and organizations as possible, we did everything possible, but sadly, the pieces of this puzzle just would not fit.

And then it happened Christina was to be transported to Brigham & Woman's Hospital in Boston. Whoever is responsible for this "Act of Kindness" should know that you have heart felt thanks. You are truly an angel on this earth and we want you to know that we appreciates and are thankful that you have given Christina this tremendous gift of a chance at recovery.
As this is being written (Wednesday August 24th), Christina is in flight on a Airtrek Ambulance (Plane) .

I have often heard that faith can move mountains. Considering all of the obstacles, laws, regulations, personalities, medical issues and a thousand other items and entities that were preventing this move - I think it is safe to say that moving a mountain probably would have been easier.

Let us look not to the past, but to Christina's bright future of recovery It will take a year or more to recover! we may not even see signs of anything major for up to six months , but given the the time and patience

It can happen as seen on one of the many

web sites

Information about recovery expectations.

It is Just a wealth of knowledge!

http://www.neuroskills.com/tbi/facts.shtml

It will not be easy and it certainly will have bumps in the road. We have changed the music of Christina's website to "Once upon a Dream" from the movie "Sleeping Beauty". And it seems very fitting that Sleeping Beauty is on her way to hopefully be rescued by the medical professionals of Boston - the medical capital of the world!

If she were given the time and patients she deserved.
Or Was there more to this that was hidden and buried on the Day of Christinas Death
Hmm God does Know . Godspeed and thank you to whoever made this possible To allow Christina this chance at Life .

If a picture can speak a thousand words, then what does this picture tell you? Perhaps you might think of your own child when you see this photograph and the memories of the most sacred night of the year. There are so many things to do before the big day! Christmas shopping, decorating, cooking and the yearly visit to the local Sears or photograph studio for that precious Christmas photograph of your little girl or boy. Here is Christina when she was 3 years old. Note the velvety red Christmas dress, the white tights and matching shoes. Her hair neatly combed with matching hair pieces. What do you think she was hoping for during this magical time of her life?

The story this picture tells is one of love. Someone loved and cared for her, made sure the memory of her childhood would be preserved in a picture that tells a thousand words. Those words speak to the hopes and dreams of her parents, wanting to share their little bundle of joy with a holiday photograph to family and friends. Much more than a picture, but a record and testament that her family cares about her.

Then there are the unseen words of this photograph. The Grandmother from Massachusetts who traveled all the way to Florida, even though she herself was suffering from terminal cancer, to visit her first grand-daughter. My....what a happy occasion that must have been when her eyes first layed site on Christina.

Bad things happen to good people and bad people don't stop to think how their actions will effect all of the family and friends of a victim. Perhaps you did not realize that there were people that cared for Christina, Mr. Wiley - or whatever your real name might be. We will be sure that the truth comes out about why you did not seek medical attention for Christina - leaving her on a couch for 3 days - you should be ashamed of yourself. Just because you were not raised in a good home with a family that cares, doesn't mean you should take someone's child away from them without remorse........

We hope to have an update posted on Christina this week. We understand that she is not in a coma, although, it is difficult for both the family and the medical doctors at Largo Medical Center to make a proper determination without appropriate testing. As we have stressed, this is one of the reasons she should be moved - to a facility that can properly make a diagnosis. We hope to have a complete update later this week, but because there is a lot being worked on we may not post everything until after things happen. We do not want to jeopardize any plans that are being worked on for Christina!

There have been some questions about who has created this website and we have learned that it is possible that Largo Medical Center maybe monitoring this site. Let it be known that the creators of this site reside North of the Mason-Dixon line. We are very experienced and well known in certain media/entertainment circles and will of course leverage our experience to saturate the search engines, eventually, with articles from this site.

Our goal is to first help Christina recover through the telling of her story and or help other families in this type of struggle through this online journal. When we have accomplished our goal, this journal will serve as a lasting resource to be shared on the internet for all to see. Perhaps through this medium, it will help someone else down the road with a loved one that experiences a similar fate as Christina.

Alot has happened since Friday in our efforts to get Christina moved out of The Florida Medical Center. First, a national organization will be helping to try and get us some answers about why The Medical Center continues to hold on to Christina (yes, angels do walk amoung us).

At the same time, The Florida medical center is moving through legal means to try and prevent our efforts in relocating Christina to a Boston hospital capable of providing rehabilitational medical care.

Calls are coming in with offers to help from nurses, doctors, friends and family if we get the go ahead that she can be moved to the Boston area.

It is very disturbing that these medical officials will not provide us with objective test results to explain their medical opinions concerning Christina's prognosis. We feel that there has not been enough testing done to accurately formulate a medical opinion concerning Christina's prognosis.

There just has not been enough testing done. A functional MRI comes to mind. This is a relatively new test developed in the early 1990's. Read more about it from the Columbia University:

CU research on fMRI

And then there are Visual and Auditory Evoked response potentials. These are commonly used in hospital neurology departments national wide. Electrodes are placed on the patient's head in corresponding locations and either visual or auditory simuli are administered. A study published in Neurology 2004 indicates this is a good test for predicting improvement or if the patient will slip into a PVS (persistent vegative state).

Notes from Christina's Room:
. The family continues to observed signs of awareness, but we are concerned that Christina is losing hope without proper rehabilitational services.

Hello, I am Maria Christinas`s best friend since we were in the 6th grade! I KNOW HER WELL AND BELIEVE ME I KNOW SHE CAN PULL THROUGH THIS. When I was up visiting her at 9:15 pm ON AUG 4, I asked Christina if you hear me try to sit up and she did it! She did this 2 times in a row. Then I ask her on Aug 6th at 10:.30 and one of the nurses said she does not respond to commands, she said go ahead and try it, so I did. I told her to move her legs up and she did it a few times ! When the nurse saw this, she said "Oh my - she really does listen to you!" I do this when I visit to be sure it is happening over and over as they kept telling me it is just a reflex. It can not be a reflex happening over and over again. She follows me around the room with her eyes and is watching me. When the sitter tickled her feet she was moving away like it did just that - it tickled . I have been up and I have been reading to her showing her pictures and talking about better times in the past. I know she has a chance. I also observed Christina moving her all over the bed like a wiggle worm.(one nurse stated) something is working! She also gets very sad when I am leaving! She knows it when I tell her I am going for an lil bit and she starts to cry. I can calm her down and reassure her I will be back. I will keep you posted.

We wanted to post a picture of Christina as we felt it was important for you to see the face behind this story. This picture was taken in late 2003, during happier times, when her family from Massachusetts visited Christina and her newborn baby. We will be posting more pictures of Christina as family members and friends provide us photographs.

We also wanted to restate the purpose of this site. A few people have asked why are we not accepting donations. That is because there is no need of donations. Christina has medical insurance (for now) and there are plenty of organizations that we can seek help from. We would appreciate you helping us get people in the news media notified about this story or if you know someone of a high level - either medically or in the government that can help us get Christina moved to a rehabilitation facility. We would also appreciate your ideas and experience if you have any suggestions for us. Our email address is: justiceforchristina@hotmail.com.

Hello, I wanted to introduced myself - I am Christina's Aunt Shari.

We were hopeful that we were going to have Christina on a plane from Florida to Boston this morning. Largo Medical center indicated that she could be released from their hospital, but they stated she could not fly! We are not sure of the reason.

Christina has a trach that is not in use and has not been used for quite some time. She also has a catheter. We were aware that the trach may need to be suctioned.

We had arranged a ride to the airport with a nurse as well as nurses on the Boston end to accept her from the flight. It did not happen. We are so depressed because we know the medical care in Boston is top notch. People come from all over the world to be treated by Boston medical facilities. We were praying that Spaulding Rehab's Traumatic Brain Injury unit would admit Christina.

We will keep on trying to get Christina rehabilitation. We understand that for Traumatic Brain Injuries rehab should start within 30 days of the injury. We are now over 6 weeks, so there is a real sense of urgency here!

The purpose of this website is to document and record the tragic events surrounding the brutal and unsolved crime involving 22 year old Christina Anne Wojcik of Seminole Florida and mother of a 2 year old daughter Alyssa Wojcik-Pasco.

On Father's Day weekend , an older man of 40 plus years, deceived Christina was deceived with the promise of food and safe haven. real intentions were not apparent until he had slipped Drugs into her drink rendering her helpless and unconscious.

It was not until 3-4 days later that the local police located her in a condo . He had left her on the couch wrapped in a white sheet for 3 days, her tongue was so enlarged from dehydration and her condition so grave that the paramedic were sure she was dead. By all indications it appeared that they was waiting for Christina to pass away, thereby hiding the secrets and evidence of what had transpired in the prior 48-72 hours.

However, she was not dead but was suffering from a traumatic brain injury brought on by an overdose of drugs. Christina's fight to survive was about to begin. She was brought to The Medical Center in Florida where she received incompetent care . Only recently have we discovered that her doctor is not even a board certified neurologist. He is a MD practicing neurology. For over one month we have been told contradictory information from these "so called" medical professionals.

Christina has displayed signs of frontal lobe activity and brain activity.

Make no mistake, this is not a case of a completely brain dead individual. Christina responds to voice commands, has tried to sit up and displays activities that are consistent with an individual that has awakening consciousness. However, those in charge of her are rendering a death sentence. Why? Is it to Is it to bury any trace of information that can lead to how Christina ended up with this Traumatic Brain Injury. Who was involved in this crime and will Justice For Christina rendered?

Please help us. Time is of essence. We want to see Christina moved to a rehabilitation facility where she can receive the appropriate care, treatment and therapy that she deserves. We want to give her a second chance and we believe that through appropriate medical therapy that Christina can live to see her 2 year old daughter. The signs of frontal lobe activity are clear and indicates that Christina is not brain dead, but is aware. We believe that Christina needs to be transferred to a Brain Injury Rehabilitation program, such as one of 16 locations in the United States that has a TBI treatment center (An example is Spaulding Rehab Hospital: http://spauldingrehab.org/body.cfm?id=210).

The purpose of this website and journal is for the friends and extended family of Christina to have a place to document and share information about Christina. We want to make people aware of Christina's situation and to accomplish the goal of moving her to a rehab hospital. All we ask is that Christina be given a chance to receive appropriate care and therapy so she has the best chance of survival. We are asking for your help, not your donations or money - none are being accepted - but in bringing this tragic situation to the attention of the local community, government and aid organizations so that we can save Christina. Time is of the essence. Please help.

We will be adding eye witness accounts from family, friends and pictures of Christina to this site. Please check back daily for the most recent updates. Thank you and God Bless........
